Our Complex!

Originally, they were a local miller’s house, the cellar-warehouse and the rainwater collection tank for the family and the estate needs. Each of them has been renovated, with respect of the environment, the history and the local architecture.

Each house accommodates two to four persons and includes all modern amenities, after the recent and complete renovation.

The traditional residence “BAY VIEW ANDROS” is located in Ormos Korthiou and consists of three independent houses of 300 years old. The complex is located 800 meters (half mile) from the beach and the village square and is amphitheatrically built, at about 60m altitude, with awesome panoramic view of the Bay of Korthi and the Aegean Sea. Traditional House Unit 1

“Gaia” (Earth)

The unit “Gaia” (Earth) consists of the family cellar, the wine-press area and the harvest warehouse. It combines the cool, stone-built bedroom, with a living room with spectacular sea view and a carefully renovated kitchen that has kept most of its original architecture features. It has an internal area of 42 m2.

Traditional House Unit 2

“Air” (Wind)

The unit “Air” or Aήρ (Wind) is a stone building with thick walls and the low-height doors that served as the main residence of the family. The original features of the residence have been preserved with the built in bed and the traditional fireplace, while a modern kitchen and a bathroom have been added. The total size of the unit is 41m2. The unit has a yard with spectacular water views of Korthi Bay. It has an internal area of 41 m2.

Traditional House Unit 3

“Ydor” (water)

The unit “ydor” or ὕδωρ (water) was used by the family as the water collection tank. The space was transformed in a comfortable duplex with spectacular panoramic views of the Bay and the Eastern Aegean Sea. The kitchen, living room and bathroom are located in the lower level of the duplex while the upper level includes a spacious bedroom with a big balcony. Watching the sunrise from that balcony is an unforgettable experience. It has an internal area of 67 m2
